Acorns provides investment advice through its mobile app, primarily through model portfolios of exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Acorns matches clients to a portfolio based on their investor profile, but clients can override this. Acorns also offers a bitcoin-linked ETF and custom portfolios where clients choose their own investments. Acorns Money Manager automatically splits deposits among investing, saving, and spending accounts. Acorns does not provide financial planning, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
Acorns charges a monthly subscription fee for access to its platform and investment advisory services. The fee is not based on the amount you invest. There are three subscription plans:
These fees cover investment advice, trade execution, account reporting, and custody. Acorns does not charge performance-based fees.
