Amerant Investments offers investment advice based on a client's objectives and risk tolerance, including rebalancing portfolios. They participate in wrap fee programs (Fixed Income Portfolios and Portfolio Advisory Services). For clients in the PAS program who utilize the UMA platform, investments are also managed by a third-party sub-advisor, resulting in additional fees. Amerant also provides a platform for other registered investment advisors.
Fee Structure
Amerant Investments charges an annual advisory fee of up to 1.75% of your portfolio, calculated on average daily balances and charged quarterly. This fee is negotiable based on the total amount you invest. If you use the UMA platform through the PAS Program, you'll also pay a fee to the third-party sub-advisor, which Amerant will deduct from your account. A 1% account setup recovery fee is charged on any amounts withdrawn during the first twelve (12) months. For sub-advisory services, AMTI clients will pay a management fee of 0.50% based on the average account balance.
