Zacks Investment Management (ZIM) manages investment portfolios for individuals and institutions, often on a discretionary basis. ZIM offers a variety of investment strategies through its Retail Wealth Management Program and also manages alternative investments. ZIM also serves as a portfolio manager for wrap fee programs sponsored by other firms. ZIM uses both quantitative and qualitative analysis in its investment strategies. ZIM is wholly owned by Zacks Investment Research, Inc.
Fee Structure
Zacks Investment Management offers several investment programs with different fee structures.
Retail Wealth Management Program:
- Fees range from 1.80% to 1.00% annually, depending on the amount you invest. The fee is calculated based on the market value of your account at the end of the previous quarter and is paid quarterly in advance.
Global Tactical Strategy:
- Fees range from 0.95% to 0.70% annually, depending on the amount you invest. The fee is calculated based on the market value of your account at the end of the previous quarter and is paid quarterly in advance. Clients are responsible for all trading costs.
Premier Select Strategy:
- A flat fee of 1.50% annually on all assets managed. The fee is calculated based on the market value of your account at the end of the previous quarter and is paid quarterly in advance.
Zacks Strategies Direct:
- Fees range from 0.99% to 0.60% annually, depending on the amount you invest. The fee is deducted quarterly based on the assets managed in your account at the end of each calendar quarter.
Zacks Advantage:
- Fees range from 0.70% to 0.35% annually, depending on the amount you invest. The fee is charged monthly in arrears.
ZIM's fees may be negotiable. Clients may also incur trading costs and custodial fees. If your account is invested in mutual funds or exchange-traded funds, these funds charge separate management, trading, and administrative expenses.
