Ares Financial Consulting (AresFC) offers personalized financial planning and investment management services to individuals, pension plans, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, and small businesses. AresFC provides advice on financial objectives, challenges, cash flow, tax planning, investment management, education funding, retirement, and estate planning. AresFC operates on a fee-only basis, generally charging flat dollar fees. Investment Advisor Representatives may also be licensed insurance agents, but AresFC does not benefit from those sales.
Fee Structure
Ares Financial Consulting typically does not offer investment management as a standalone service, believing it's tied to a client's financial plan. However, under special circumstances, investment-only services are available through two options:
- Betterment Platform: AresFC receives 0.30% of the client's account value, deducted quarterly. Clients also pay Betterment's wrap fee, ranging from 0.12% to 0.20% annually, charged quarterly.
- American Funds Platform: AresFC receives 0.25% of the account's assets, paid quarterly. An additional $250 is added to the ongoing annual fee for the first quarter only for new clients.
