Galileo Planning Group (GPG) is an independent financial advisor that provides financial planning and investment counseling services to wealthy individuals. GPG operates on a non-discretionary, fee-only basis, meaning clients make the final decisions and GPG is only compensated by client fees. GPG's services are customized to each client's needs and circumstances and include advice on asset allocation, retirement, estate and tax planning, insurance, charitable giving, employment compensation agreements, asset purchases, and cash and debt management.
Fee Structure
Galileo Planning Group's fees are determined on a client-by-client basis depending on the range and complexity of services provided as well as the assets for which the firm provides advice. Fees are generally stated as an annual negotiated dollar amount based upon an agreed set of tasks to be accomplished in a given period, or on the basis of actual or estimated time spent on the requested services. Fees are computed as a percentage of the value of advised assets, which then may be adjusted based on the services requested by the client.
For clients with clear objectives who require a standard level of reporting and personal contact, the fee is 0.25% of advised assets. For clients with complex structures, including additional family members and other entities, and advice on alternative investment vehicles and other non-traditional assets, the fee is 0.35% of advised assets. Actual fees may vary based on the particular circumstances of the client.
