(TEPI) refers retirement plans and individual investors to registered investment advisors (RIAs) and investment advisor representatives (IARs) who use patented technology for investment selection and performance monitoring. TEPI also provides direct internet-based investment advisory services to defined contribution retirement plans, enabling them to evaluate investment choices within their plans. TEPI does not provide retail investment advisory services directly to individual investors.
Fee Structure
TEPI provides direct internet-based investment advisory services to defined contribution retirement plans for a flat fee of $5,000 per year, payable quarterly in advance. This fee can be negotiated, discounted, or waived, especially for smaller plans. TEPI also receives referral fees from other registered investment advisors when clients engage them through TEPI's platform. These referral fees typically range from 10% to 20% of the fees the advisor receives from the client.
