Financial Planning Center does not directly manage your investments. Instead, they recommend third-party money managers. If you use one of these managers, you'll pay them a fee based on the value of your investments. Financial Planning Center receives a portion of that fee as a referral fee. For example, if you use Gradient Investments, you'll pay between 1.00% and 1.80% annually, depending on the portfolio type. Financial Planning Center receives 0.60% to 1.00% of that fee, and Gradient Investments receives the rest. If you use Absolute Capital Management, the maximum annual advisory fee is 2.00%, with Financial Planning Center receiving up to 1.60% and Absolute Capital Management retaining the rest.
