## Terminology
- CRD: Central Registration Depository number (unique advisor/firm identifier)
- RIA: Registered Investment Advisor
- AUM: Assets Under Management
- Fiduciary: Advisor legally required to act in client's best interest
- Fee-only: Advisor compensated only by client fees, no commissions

Backtest a retirement plan against 154 years of real US market history (1871-2024).

Endpoint: GET https://trueadvisor.com/api/fire-calculator/

Required parameters:
- portfolio: Starting portfolio value in dollars (e.g. 1000000)
- annual_spending: Annual spending in dollars (e.g. 40000). Not required if mode=find_spending.

Optional parameters:
- retirement_years: Length of retirement, 1-80 (default 30)
- equity_pct: Stock allocation 0-100 (default 75)
- expense_ratio: Fund expense ratio as percentage (default 0.1)
- spending_model: "constant" (inflation-adjusted) or "percentage" (of portfolio)
- ss_amount: Annual Social Security income in dollars (default 0)
- ss_start_year: Year of retirement when SS begins, 0-indexed (default 0)
- pension_amount: Annual pension income in dollars (default 0)
- pension_start_year: Year of retirement when pension begins, 0-indexed (default 0)
- mode: "simulate" (default) or "find_spending"
- target_success_rate: For find_spending mode, target % (default 95)
